児童手当/Child Allowance
日本で 子どもを 育てている人は、お金が もらえます。
子どもが 生まれたときや 子どもと いっしょに 鴨川市に 住むとき、子ども支援課に 申し込みます。

もらうお金の 決め方
6月くらいに 子ども支援課から 手紙が 届きます。
家族の 収入（給料など）や 子どもを 育てていることを 調べます。
お金が もらえるとき
6・10・2月
＊1回に 4か月分 もらえます。
次の とき、子ども支援課に 教えてください。
- 引っ越しを します。
もう 日本に 住みません。
鴨川市じゃないところに 住みます。 - 子どもが 児童福祉施設などに 行きます。
- 名前や 住所〈住んでいるところ〉が 変わりました。
- お金を もらう銀行の 口座を 変えたいです。

In Japan, families with children can receive financial support from the government.
If you have a child while living in Kamogawa, or live with your child in Kamogawa you can apply for “child allowances” at the Child Support Division.

*For families with higher incomes, you will receive 5,000 yen per child, per month.
How Child Allowances are Decided:
Around June every year, the Child Support Division sends out a letter concerning Child Allowances. They will determine your allowances based on how much you make and how many children you are raising.
Child Allowance Payment Dates
You will be paid your allowances in June, October, and February, every year.
＊This payment will include 4 months worth of allowances at once.
Please notify the Child Support Division if …
… you are moving out of Kamogawa.
(whether you are leaving Japan, or planning to move within Japan)
… your child needs children’s healthcare facilities or other assistance
… your name or address changes
… you want to change the bank account that receives the child allowance payments
